Making Projects Pencil: Understanding Housing Finance for Better Advocacy
Open New York's Learning Studio is a monthly series for members to discuss and learn together. We have pizza, meet new friends, and build our collective knowledge base for our advocacy! What makes a development financially viable- or not? Join Open New York members Bobby Gorrill and Jesse Lang for a hands-on workshop that demystifies how housing projects are financed. This session will give you a clearer understanding of the trade-offs in housing development, as well as practical language to use when engaging with community boards and elected officials.
